Turweston Airfield is a great facility! We came for a flying lesson that we were given as a gift and the staff were great! We waited in the caf which was perhaps a little more expensive than you might expect, but didnt detract from the experience.
Lovely caf, good service and fantastic views across the Aerodrome.We watched a TV crew filming two cars and a fortnight later we saw the finished film on BBC's Click programme. Apparently this kind of thing happens all the time.We visited with a group, booking beforehand to let them know our numbers, and they coped very well.We are due to return tomorrow and we are certainly looking forward to it.
Nice cafe, friendly place but might close early in the week if not busy.
A great conference centre at a great airfield. Easy to access, relatively busy airfield. Highly recommend
Probably one of the best general aviation airfields in the country, always helpful and friendly and has a great flying club too, I got my PPL here and would recommend it to anyone
