Lovely antiques centre, visited twice in the last month, wrap up warm in the winter as really cold inside, some members of staff not particularly happy as when I wanted to buy my husband a gift for his 60th the guy who opened the counter for me I was asking him questions and he said , "don't know as it's not my kind of thing". I don't think staff should be saying this as not at all helpful and the other week I asked a lady if we could have a discount as we brought 3 items and she said "it doesn't work like that, you only get 10% off if it's over 20" so staff not very nice to talk to we didn't think. Ladies in the cafe very friendly and polite though but apart from staff in the main centre some lovely pieces.
A large collection of 'stalls' with a variety of antiques from large furniture to small collectibles. Very well laid out generally, mostly wheelchair accessible except for a small area up a few stairs. The wheelchair entrance to the building is not immediately obvious but is actually right next to the normal entrance, however it requires a member of staff to open the door and operate the lift.
Place not easy to find & parking very difficult. Once inside , a large amount of stock is junk . Most desirable items were overpriced. Will not be revisiting.
A fantastic place with just lots to see and explore a treasure hunters delight. Something for all collectors to find. Lovely friendly helpful staff and a super cafe with clean well kept toilets.
Love it here, there is so much to look at. I have been coming here for the past 5 years or so. It's well worth the hours drive to get to, and equally it's easy to spend at least an hour exploring.
