Been previously and loved it. Hadn't heard that The Secret Kitchen Co had left there so I was saddened to hear that when I turned up. Hopefully they go on to another pub as I live their food. Guys that run it really turned this pub around and now it seems the landlord reeps the reputation they created. Won't be visiting again. Better off heading down the road to Evenly.
Great place to eat and drink! The Fat Landlord has retained it's country pub charm and has a delightful ambiance. The staff were very attentive, efficient and helpful. The menu is a lovely mix of classic dishes and pizzas, both with a twist. I would highly recommend the Ham Hock starter and Beef in Guinness pie.....delicious; had to share a dessert as the portions are generous. I would highly recommend a visit to this place; it's a real gem.
What can I say had such an amazing evening . Drinks were really cheap, and the food I think was brilliant value for money. Im a cynic when it comes to trying out new places to eat As I would class myself a bit of a food buff I enjoyed the my main. And as a table we tried every dessert. A* all round . Make sure you book a table quick .
Went to the opening night this evening , atmosphere was great was greeted by a professional team, who clearly wanted to make the evening a success. Food was amazing presentation fab. Good value for money. Over all a great evening. Well done team
